Rhys qualified from the RVC in 2015 and after a period in general practice he successfully completed an internship at a multidisciplinary referral hospital. He joined Swift Referrals on its opening in 2019 and is enrolled in an ECVS residency programme, which on completion will make him eligible to sit the ECVS board examination in order to be licensed as a specialist in small animal surgery. Rhys’ main areas of interest are wound management and reconstructive surgery. When he is not working, Rhys enjoys mountaineering, rock climbing and camping with his family.
