Specific Disease Conditions

We understand that the increasingly high cost of specialist veterinary procedures is a cause of concern for clients and referring vets.  In particular, escalation of costs far above what was originally estimated for a procedure, often due to unforeseen complications, can lead to client dissatisfaction and in some instances may preclude further treatment.

The following is a guide to our fees for commonly performed neurology procedures.  For many of these procedures, once we have assessed the patient, we will be happy to undertake the work at a fixed price, meaning that any unexpected complications in the post-operative period will be resolved at no additional cost to the client.  Where it is not practical to perform the work at a fixed price, we will ensure that the client is given an accurate estimate of any additional procedures or treatment that might be required.

While many of the procedures listed below will ultimately be done at a fixed price, surgery is rarely ‘one size fits all’, and our recommendations in terms of diagnostic work and other ancillary tests and treatment will always be made in the best interests of the patient and communicated clearly to the client.

Price includes consult, please note that these are estimates only.
