Rachel Walker

I have been working as a Veterinary Nurse for the past 10 years, I became an RVN 5 years ago. I enjoy all aspects of animal care, as previously have worked with large and small animals, including exotics. My favourite area is patient care and the fast pace of emergency and critical work – where I obtained my certificate for this a few years ago.

I am the Lead Medical Nurse, which is a rewarding role – I enjoy training and supporting my colleagues to get through the busy caseload.

Outside of work, I like training and walking my 2 dogs, where I keep up to date with training and behaviour courses. I keep very busy by looking after all my animals at home and helping out on the farm with the cows.
