Rory Bell

RCVS and European Recognised Specialist (internal medicine)

Rory graduated from the Veterinary College of Ireland, University College Dublin. He completed his internship there and following a period of time in first opinion small animal practice in West London, undertook residency training at the University of Glasgow. He was awarded the RCVS and European College Diplomas in small animal medicine in 2006. He subsequently became head of the small animal medicine service and Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow prior to joining Dick White Referrals as a senior clinician. He joined Wear Referrals in 2016 to establish the medicine service there before leaving to develop Swift Referrals. He is currently Chairperson of the Speciality of Internal Medicine within the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

When not at work he enjoys spending time with friends and family, surfing and occasionally hillwalking.
