Laura Keyser

 I graduated from Edinburgh in 2008 and returned to Yorkshire to start my first job in mixed general practice, before moving on to a small animal first opinion and referral practice 6 years later. After having two children, I started at Swift in 2019 when the hospital opened.

I enjoy all aspects of the job and the varied caseload but my interests lie in surgery, particularly soft tissue. I am currently studying for my BSAVA Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

Outside of work, I am kept busy by my two young children and three spaniels. I also enjoy music, fieldsports, playing hockey, horse riding, entertaining and eating out when time allows.
